Peach Coffee Cake

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 ¾ cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp sale
  • 1 can peach pie filling
  • 1 can sliced peaches (drained)

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs separately and then vanilla, mixing well after each addition. Add dry ingredients and mix. Spread into a greased 10 X 15 pan. Spread pie filling and peaches over batter and push slightly into the batter. Bake at 350 degrees until done (approx 35 minutes). Drizzle with powdered sugar glaze if desired.
