What to bring

Below is a list of things we think you should bring. We’ve also canvased some previous campers and they have started a list of what’s missing from camp that they wish they would have had.  We invite more input!

  • More time – I wish camp lasted – oh – maybe a month?
  • More recliners!
  • Bring all your stitching stuff – regardless of if you’re going to stitch on it this weekend.  It’s fun to share with all the other stitchers part of your stash!
  • Your Stitching!
  • Hair dryer/curling iron etc
  • Floss (the kind you stitch with)
  • Magnification (if you need it!)
  • Your clothes (no naked stitching!)
  • Portable lights (if you have them)
  • Soda (we will provide water, coffee & tea)
  • Your patterns, needles & scissors
  • Your jammies/snuggie/whatever
  • A skein of your favorite floss & beads to match
  • A great Christmas outfit
  • Your newest finished stitching project
  • Your first finished stitching project

I think that I’m going to bring a flashlight so that we can make our way easily to the cottages after dark when our eyes finally give out from stitching all night.

Really looking forward to this weekend. We had such a marvelous time last year. A great way to get away from the stress in our lives.

I have gotten so dependent on lighting and magnification. Should I drag along my floor lamp or try to bring a table lamp? Will we be able to clamp lights onto the table?

Looking forward to a wonderful weekend.

Either one Barbara – We have 4 torch lamps that we are flooding the stitching room with but if you need the magnification, I would bring along yours as well. We’ll have the dining room table to stitch on as well as we will also be bringing other tables that you can clamp on to.

    See you soon!

What kind of beads do you mean? Mill Hill? Bigger fancy beads?

Mill Hill or any small seed bead will work – See you in a few days!
